Smart Meters - ఏపీలో స్మార్ట్ మీటర్లకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ప్రజల ఆందోళన. గుడివాడలోని నిజాంపేటలో.. అదాని కంపెనీకి చెందిన రూ.17 వేల స్మార్ట్ మీటర్ల బిగింపు. దీంతో మాకొద్దు స్మార్ట్ మీటర్లు అంటూ.. ధర్నా చేపట్టిన గుడివాడ కాలనీ అభివృద్ధి కమిటీ. ధర్నా చేపట్టిన మీటర్లు బిగించడంతో.. ఆగ్రహావేశాలకు గురై మీటర్లు పగలగొట్టిన సభ్యులు. మీటర్లను లాక్కోవడంతో పాటు అక్కడి నుంచి సిబ్బందిని తరిమికొట్టిన కమిటీ మెంబర్స్. ఇళ్లకు బిగించిన స్మార్ట్ మీటర్లను తీయకపోతే.. రెండు రోజుల్లో తొలగిస్తామని హెచ్చరిక.
Smart Meters - Public protests erupted in Andhra Pradesh against smart meters. In Nijampet, Gudivada, residents opposed the installation of Rs. 17,000 smart meters by the Adani company. The Gudivada Colony Development Committee staged a dharna, declaring they do not want smart meters. Angered by the installation, committee members damaged the meters, dismantled them, and drove away the staff. They warned that if the smart meters installed in homes are not removed within two days, they would take further action to remove them.
